fairy follow-up
Last month we took a trip to Mount Gretna (click to see post), where Evyn visited a fairy garden and left a message for them. A few weeks later the C's revisited the fairy garden - and found that the fairies had replied to Evyn's letter! They took this photo for us:

baby Susie's photo shoot
Several months ago I was playing with the long tuft of hair on the
top of Andrew's head and decided to give him a ponytail. One long
ponytail, sticking straight up. Evyn thought this was hysterical,
and dubbed Andrew's new alter-ego: Baby Susie.
Every once in a while she would ask,
"Can Baby Susie come to play today?"
By early August, Andrew had lost so much hair off the sides of his head, that the long top looked a little funny, so I gave him a trim - more than an inch off the top! Which means, no more ponytail.
Evyn still hasn't forgiven me.
Last week she picked a flower for Andrew and I tucked it behind his ear... voila! The return of Baby Susie.
He looked so cute, I thought I would snap a quick photo of him.
Easier said than done! Andrew HATES sitting. Even for a moment.
So here is what I ended up with:

More August fun: a swim playdate with friends Sophia and Katherine, and miniature golfing at Village Greens with Aunt Chris.
