bathing al fresco
Evyn attended her first day camp this past week- 6 hours a day of swimming, crafting, games, and rollerblading. She loved it! Andrew missed her terribly, and was particularly sad one evening when she went to a neighbor's house for a swim. So I grabbed one of my beloved flexi-tubs (these things are fantastic!) for him to splash in. I think he enjoys sitting in this tote even more than our inflatable pool. Andrew and his Baby enjoyed the novelty of a backyard bath so much, that he soon forgot all about Evyn being gone.

our long Independence Day weekend....
....included two fireworks shows (one in Ephrata, and one in our back yard), two trips to the pool (lounging at the C's, and splashing at the Leola pool), dinner guests, a rocket
launch, and two tired kids sleeping past breakfast three days in a row.

pool daze
You may have noticed a recurring theme in our photos lately....
We've been taking advantage of a string of wonderful weather by spending as much time outside as possible (even a few nights until 10pm!), and our inflatable pool, and popsicle molds, have been seeing a lot of action.
