Memorial Day 2011

This year's Memorial Day cookouts were scheduled for the day before, so we got to spend a lazy (mostly) day in the back yard - some quality family time!

Please forgive the picture overload - we had way too much fun with Evyn's new camera.

pool party

Whew! It's been very, very hot. Perfect for splashing in a cold pool!

Evyn invited a friend over for a "pool party."
Andrew particularly liked the slip & slide.

home sweet home

We may not have a beach or fresh-caught shrimp....
....but we do have fresh farm produce and an inflatable pool!

We walked to the farm on a recent afternoon for corn, cantaloupe,
and tomatoes, then cooled off with a swim.
