Happy Birthday Scott!

Today is Scott's 40th birthday.
I wish I could report that we were doing something special to mark his big day - truth is, though, he is stuck finishing a job at the home of a crazy and demanding customer (who insists that Scott give her a wake-up call in the AM, and that he acknowledge her dog Molly while she chats over his shoulder - all day! - ha) and I am off to make sure Santa delivers a few of Evyn's Christmas wishes.

We have quite a few new pictures to post (now that we're all recuperated from the cold that slowed us down last week!) and will try to do so tonight or tomorrow.

Evyn and her friend Ellie decided to take their waffles to their space shuttle to eat. That's the story I got, anyway.




Baby name lists are a little shorter today-
Boys: A, M, B, S ________ Girls: A, C, J, M

so long, sixty degrees!

60 degrees on Monday gave way to snow on Tuesday.





Evyn asked if she could take a photograph of a picture in her album. She says she wants to take it to Great-Grandma next time we visit her, so she can remember Great-Grandpa and be happy.



After setting aside our baby name lists for the last month we're back to working on them. At the moment we have 5 boys names, and 7 girls names.
Boys: A, M, S, B, M
Girls: A, L, C, J, L, J, M

briefly -

1. new bedroom is going great. except that the school bus stopping across the street wakes Evyn at 7:47 every morning. which isn't so early, I guess, but we're so used to her sleeping until 8:30 - 9:00!
2. got the estimate from the second builder. $9k more than the first guy. but the first guy didn't give an itemized allowance list. pretty sure we're going to hire the first guy, if he can supply some more details and tweak the plan for us.
3. Evyn has croup. she's doing well but every time I hear her hoarse little cough it sounds so awful I want to cry.
4. 60 degrees here today! we got outside, did some raking, fed the birds, Evyn got muddy. fun!
5. Christmas party season starts this Saturday! we have two events to attend that day. and we haven't even started our cards yet!
