playing in the poop
We've been wanting to stop at the park/playground at Greenfield for, well, forever. We finally did, dodging masses of goose droppings along our way (ha!).

breakfast date
Evyn & I had a girls-only breakfast outing. I let her pick where she wanted to go. No surprise - her usual, Oregon Dairy!
After breakfast we checked out the goats and deer, and played at the playground, while we waited for the ice cream shop to open.

shedding the coats
Temperatures were in the 60's on Wednesday and we were feeling a bit of spring fever so we took a short drive to East Lampeter Park.

When we got home, Scott was tidying up the patio from all the
construction debris, and Evyn decided to check out the 3 ft. post
holes dug for the coming patio roof. She was in mud heaven and
crowned herself "The Mud Queen."

Construction update: the crew took 2 days off due to weather forecasts calling for rain, but returned Thursday morning to continue replacing our roof.
