to the mountains!

The kids have been a little stir-crazy lately so I decided to pack the car and take them to Mom & Guy's Centre County cabin for a few days.  We headed out Wednesday night, after Evyn's swimming lesson.

We arrived around 7:30, unpacked the car, and had a LATE dinner, followed by a movie.  I think we finally got to bed sometime after midnight.

about 2:30 am - Andrew was no longer in bed, but he was sleeping soundly!

Thursday - we took a short drive to the beach at a nearby state park.  The water in the lake is always ice cold, but it didn't prevent Andrew from hopping right in!  He swam for nearly two hour- my little fish!

Later, the kids got a chance to talk to Daddy, and made a "slide" in the side yard:
