On Saturday we had jammed the car full of supplies and food and toys, and made the three-hour drive to Milton, arriving around 3pm. Our usual vacation spot is a much longer drive, so the short commute was a real plus. Grams & Pops (Scott's parents) and Aunt Chris (his sister) arrived a short while later. After figuring out sleeping arrangements, doing some light cleaning (ugh), and unpacking (ugh, ugh), we took a couple bike rides, and checked out the beach.
Sunday could be summed up like this: RAIN. We couldn't resist riding bikes, and hanging out on the beach anyway. Needless to say, we were all soggy afterward. The rainbow at the end of the day was a good sign, though.
