I was a little emotional about leaving Andrew for the first time. He's been away from me quite a few times, but never more than about 3 hours. Plus, this time, we would be gone until after his bedtime. Scott teased me for wearing my Teething Bling necklace, but hey, it helped me anyhow.
First stop, steaks at Tony Luke's (I had the Steak Italian... it was phenomenal... I'm still thinking about that sandwich more than two weeks later!)
Then off to the stadium to find our seats... ROW 1!

Scott has been to a few other games, but this was the first time he was able to see Allen Iverson play (he was injured last time).
We really felt for Sammy Dalembert, who played fantastically despite it being just days after the earthquake in his native country, Haiti. He made a personal appeal for donations to relief funds... pretty emotional....
Halftime entertainment includes Hip Hop, an urban-garbed rabbit that shoots souvenir shirts from a cannon. I couldn't get a good picture because my camera battery died, but you can check him out in action here. He seems to be a pretty popular mascot... however I was a bit creeped out.... is it just me, or does Hip Hop conjure thoughs of Donnie Darko?
Anyway, great night, great game. The kids survived without us, although Andrew was awake for the second time when we got home around midnight. He seemed a little rattled, but was fine the next day!
We even made the press photos and highlight reels (ha!):
