10 weeks old - recap

Sigh. Despite my best intentions, I find myself more than a week behind on sorting pictures. Not just for our family blog, but for our home collection.

Part of it is that our picture file has exploded in size, now that Evyn has become a prolific photographer. A couple times a week I have to sit down and sort through a hundred or so pictures & movies that she's taken. OK, I don't have to, but I'd miss out on some real gems if I didn't!

So, let's backtrack to last week. Andrew, at 10 weeks & 14.5 pounds:

It's been a big week for him. He's now playing for longer periods of time - up to 2 hours full of babbling, reaching out for toys and trying to manipulate them, touching our faces, and even a few belly laughs!

Other developments that, admittedly, are probably are of little interest to you but are big news here -
He's graduated to size 2 diapers, and outgrown some of his 3-6 month sleepers.
We're down to one or two bowel movements per day (from 3-4 daily just a week ago). This is great for us, his diaper-changers!

No explanation needed for the next few:

A new development for Evyn, too. Up until now, she has pretty consistently slept from 9:30 pm to 8:30 am. The last week, though, she has been waking around 7:30. This is good news, if we are lucky enough to get a.m. kindergarten.

A few times a week I have to wake her to get our mornings started. Her favorite way to wake is to have her brother join her for a snuggle. The following pictures capture their relationship perfectly!

On Saturday we went to Alex' 1st birthday party at Buchmiller Park, where Andrew got to meet his Grandpa Reed:

He also spent some quality time with his Great Grandma Reed:

Before the party was over, little Alex was crashed on the lawn, while the other kids were blowing bubbles and playing frisbee.
