Saturday was the auction of Grandma & Grandpa Martin's house and belongings (Grandma moved into an apartment this winter, after Grandpa died in November).
Scott went first thing in the morning to register, be with the family, and help a little. Evyn, Andrew & I didn't get there until just before 1pm, when the house was scheduled to be auctioned. Evyn had a great time hanging out with her cousin Lizzy, and Andrew did great (despite the damp, cold weather) for an hour or so.
I'd love to post some pictures from the sale, but someone erased the memory card for my camera! Neither Scott or Evyn is claiming responsibility, but they were my two photographers for the day. Hmmmpft. Thankfully I did have all the previous pictures transferred to my computer, or wow would I be heartbroken!
Andrew is doing well, although I made a mistake. On Thursday we had a follow-up appointment with his pediatrician, whose advice for dealing with our nursing issues was to STOP waking Andrew during the day for feedings.
Up until then, I'd been getting him up every 2-3 hours, because I was concerned about him sleeping too much during the day.
So, Thursday and Friday I followed her advice, and let him sleep as long as he wanted to. Big mistake! My good sleeper is now pretty much refusing to sleep between 8am - midnight, except in short (say, 30 minute) increments. Sometimes he sleeps as little as 5-10 minutes over the course of several hours. And, of course, when he is awake he thinks he wants to nurse... constantly.... As I type, I have a wailing infant on my lap. Assuming I can get him back to a good sleep routine, you can bet I won't be letting him sleep long periods during the day any more! No matter how great his Pediatrician is, that's one piece of advice I am not gonna take again :)

Don't mean to laugh, but most times, Moms know best. I'm sure Andrew will be sleeping like a champ again soon. ;)
Glad the auction went well and I'm sorry about your pics. I'm sure it was the "Not Me" ghost who erased your card. :)))
glad you are follwing your mom instinct as far as nursing goes. I would imagine you would be pretty engorged going for too long w/o nursing. Glad the grandparents house and land sold. Sorry about your mem card but you have just reminded me to back up my pics as well.
night
