I had mentioned to Scott many months ago that there likely wouldn't be a shower for this baby.... but just in case, I thought it would be fun to have just the immediate family so we could invite the guys, too. (Why should the Mom-to-be have all the fun??) And that's exactly what they did.
Hurray! This baby won't be naked after all. We received lots of really cute clothes, and much-needed diapers, as well as a bunch of other great stuff. We feel very lucky & grateful, and will be putting everything to good use very soon.
For once, I didn't have my camera with me (ha) but here are some pictures from off Chris' camera:
Pregnancy update: I'm 35 weeks! At my prenatal appointment today I was at + 16 pounds, blood pressure up to 120/80. Baby's heart rate was 136 bpm.
The doctor took a swab for the group b strep test, I should have the results at my next appointment Wednesday 2/18. I tested positive with Evyn, so I was given antibiotics intravenously during my labor with her. It would be nice to test negative this time, because they barely had time to administer the iv during Evyn's whirlwind delivery.
Baby is still head down, on my left side, which is the ideal position for birthing. Keep your fingers crossed that s/he stays there!

Hooray for the shower :) SOOO glad you got spoiled and that it was exactly what you would have wanted.
I am firmly in the "you're having a boy" camp...and you look awesome :)
